Full Moon Circles
...the forest lit up by a crackling fire, the rush of the river reflecting the full moon overhead, these ceremonies experiment with taking inspiration to its extreme. Often held at midnight on the night of the full moon, the setting is magical and the effect is transformational.

Circle nights are not formally scheduled but offered by invitation a week or so before the event.
Details of the ceremony are dependent on weather and will be announced a week or two before the event. Please indicate if you would like to be added to the contact list.
"Having always felt closest to sprit while in nature and seemingly affected by the cycles of the moon I was drawn to attend Erin’s Spring Equinox Full Moon Circle. I was a little apprehensive that it might be a little 'out there' for me but my apprehension was unfounded. Erin facilitated a beautiful ceremony. I was moved by the power of compassion and ritual that is generated when grounded, authentic, seekers come together with the intent to release and heal."
Rather than an instructional session they are an opportunity to be part of an exploration of the heights of ceremony, chants, meditation, manifestation and moon magic...and whatever else we imagine! CEREMONY DETAILS: These ceremonies are created to inform and transform those who are participating.
What you receive: A magical night of healing and celebration; communing with the divine and, weather permitting, with Mother Nature; instruction and information on the elements of ceremony and related practices; coming together in sacred ceremony with others; the power of healing/manifesting with the energy of a group; a ceremony created and written to guide each participant through a healing or manifestation and bring transformation and enlightenment; psychic/intuitive guidance on a question of your choosing, AND, for many, healings, blessings and manifestations in the weeks and months to follow.
What to expect? Typically we meet and are welcomed at the event venue and socialize for a few minutes. Then we gather and make basic introductions. Erin opens the ceremony with a discussion of the astrological influences at work and nature of the occasion, and how the evening will proceed.
The lavishly displayed altar is introduced and participants have an opportunity to place on it a sacred object, such as a picture of a loved one, a crystal, a piece of jewelry. For those who have loved ones who are in need of healing and who are not present, a piece of paper with his/her name can be placed on the altar to include them in the benefits of our collective intentions.
Then we clear our energy with a native method known as 'smudging', or burning sage. We draw together to create a sacred circle. If we are outside this will surround our fire. Erin introduces elements of ceremony.
Ceremonies are sacred, but also comfortable experiences. Everyone is equal, everyone is human. There is always laughter, often times incredible stories are shared, miraculous healings are created. In all of our outdoor ceremonies we have been visited by Mother Nature herself in the form of deer, foxes, coyotes, owls, running horses, black cats, bats and once a skunk (fortunately a peaceful skunk)!
The ceremonies are always created and written with loving attention to detail, and for a universal group, not just for those who are more esoterically inclined. They are created to uplift, to create an atmosphere of sharing and celebration.
Depending on the nature of the ceremony, we may begin with drumming and dancing. Rhythm and dance have been used in ceremonies from ancient times to connect us with the divine and raise energy which is directed toward our purpose, perhaps a healing or calling abundance into our lives.
A guided visualization/meditation take us through a transformational process during which we have the opportunity to speak, if we so choose, declaring our intentions to heal, or manifest.

At the close of the ceremony we will 'feast' on cakes, and juices. For our Taurus moon the treats will be more sumptuous in nature in honour of calling abundance into our lives. If you would like to celebrate with wine please check with us. Some venues it is fine, in others it requires special licensing or may not be permitted. Lastly for those who wish we will gather around the fire or altar for our divining session. Each person will have a chance to have a question answered. Sometimes there is laughter, sometimes tears. Always insight.
Behind the Scenes: A week before the event Erin researches the Astrological and magical influences pertaining to the particular full moon, and creates a ritual that incorporates the guidance of those influences into the ceremony. All aspects of the ritual are created with great attention to detail, for their energetic properties to create a healing, transformation or manifestation. Herbs are plants are chosen for their healing properties. Sacred oils are prepared and blessed. Sacred objects for the altar are chosen for their symbolic and energetic properties and attributes.
For most of my ceremonies and certainly the bigger ones, Erin includes a guided meditation/visualization which is written over several days. Through meditation and inner guidance and experience she choose images and mantras to guide participants toward healing, transformation, enlightenment or manifestation; ultimately fulfillment of the intention of our ceremony.
