I love birthdays and I love you! I love to celebrate them. I love the cake emoji’s and I love actual cake. I love flowers, and the cute little messages my daughter sends me and the sharply witty ones my other daughter sends me and the nice things my sister says about me and the free dessert at the restaurant. I love to be extra nice to myself and to look at the world with wonder, even if that wonder lately has been a lot of WTA?!! Like I’m being punked, right? But back to birthdays, which should be all about more love. I have been loving EVERYONE for 365 more days, and this year, nicely done Erin, I’m going to love even more, more of you fabulous good hearted friends and readers, and I am going to help you love, bigger and better and badder, yourselves OR your special someone in ways you maybe never thought possible, with a healed heart and open arms and free kittens for everyone!!!
BUT before I go for my run and then pop into Kensington for some sports recovery Amarone and cake I have to give you my wish list!
For my birthday, FROM YOU, I want…
You to do something small and joyful for yourself. Anything at all.
Stop and tell yourself something compassionate and loving.
Watch something ridiculously funny and send out all of that laughing mojo into the world.
Buy yourself flowers.
Or the nice wine.
Compliment someone, anyone. For example, Erin you don’t look a day over a certain age! JK.
Let go of something that is worrying you. I mean like hand it over to an angel, or a loving higher power, Elvis or Santa or The Universe-ish.
Think about something you wish for, a spark within yourself of goodness that you deserve and I will gather all of those sparks within myself and blow out my candles with them, sending them out into the force of all things good and beautiful and then back to you!!!.
Today is magical because we are in it together. The cake is endless friend when I share it with you.
